More Bus Routes on Major Arteries and More Frequently

Bayview Bus to Sunnybrook Hopsital more frequently from Davisville Station.

Subways too congested -- collection booth staff (most TTC) need to be more service-oriented.

Subways -- too many people; too loud.  Not regulated -- no one to tell riders to turn down music. 

Bus more civilized, not underground all the time.  Bus drivers are pleasant.  TTC Claims not enoiugh people; however, if small buses, more dedicated routes. 

Double-decker buses like on GO Transit.

Better bus connections from TTC to Richmond Hill, i.e. more frequent buses on GO Transit (i.e. Port Perry).  If people knew about it they would take it.

GO Transit is the way of the future.  

Would the economy be sufficient?

Metrolinx to handle feasibility study re: buses, as opposed to TTC or certain routes.

Incentives for people to take buses.  Is there a demand?  Need to take a survey.

Must be a reason for people to take buses.

In Winnipeg, there is no fee for bus fares in a.m./p.m. rush hours (further study needed).

TTC no demand? smaller buses.

Tax gas for people who bring cars to city.

Tax the people who bring cars to city.

Close off certain streets to traffic.

Ban delivery trucks during certain hours of the day (to be enforced).
